Gameplay Programmer

For Whale Runner, I worked as one of the programmers, within a gamejam team. The game was designed for the Whale Song Park Installation outside the V&A in Dundee. It is a subway surfers type game, where the players play as whales and have to collect fish in order to gain score. The score then adds to the time they receive as it is set up to run with different minigames like the game Warioware. I programmed the movement controls, the spawning system, the timer system and various other features within the game.

The game is set to be added to the Whale Song Park installation at some point in the near future as we were one of the winning teams in the gamejam
